SNKRBALL Dress

A custom sewn look rooted in current silhouettes, but pushed through a highly personal lens, down to the last detail.

The olive corset was custom engineered, while the skirt reworks existing pleated florals into something new. A shoelace back ties the piece back to its context.

AI was used as a creative tool throughout, rapidly generating and refining directions before physical execution.

In the end, it took me one full month of daily work to sew my most intricate piece to date.

Before even working on the dress, I spent two weeks researching current trends in dress silhouettes, and using ChatGPT to bring my ideas to life to accelerate the design process

Through two prototypes, countless hours of math and alterations, a couple setbacks, and weeks of sewing, I was able to create a dress that I am deeply proud of.
